DESCRIPTION
Located just outside the Town of Darrington, Whitehorse Regional Park Campground becomes the ultimate "get-a-way" in Snohomish County, with close access (but no direct access) to the Whitehorse Trail, North Mountain bike trails, and other DNR and Forest Service lands. Please be aware the campground is closed and winterized mid-October through mid-March.
CAMPSITES
The campground consists of a total of 30 sites within three loops. Other amenities include a dump station, restroom with ADA-showers, timber-framed picnic shelter with fireplace, and a short nature trail. Note: Restroom access codes are issued by the campground Host upon arrival.
Loop 1 - RV Sites
Loop 1 - RV Loop (sites 1-13) have water, 50 amp power, and sewer connections.
Loop 2 - Equestrian Sites
Loop 2 - Equestrian Loop are equestrian sites with full utilities in sites 14 and 15 and non-utilities in 16-18. Site 14D is ADA-compliant. Equestrian sites have deeper driveways and include two 12'x12' corrals and a highline. For identification purposes, these sites have an "E" designation on the map. A compost bin is located within the loop so that equestrian campers can clean their corrals prior to checking out. Water, electricity, and sewer are winterized and closed November-March.
Loop 3 - Tent Sites
Loop 3 - Tent Loop (sites 19-30) are non-utility and, although most are quite spacious, are designated for tent use only (no RVs or trailers).
RESERVATIONS
Reservations are released each year on January 1st. They can be made up to 270 days in advance, but no later than 3 days prior to the check-in date (to avoid double bookings). Weekend reservations require both a Friday and Saturday night stay (1-night reservations are accepted for all other nights). Drop-in camping is allowed for sites that have not been reserved. Bookings and cancellations can be made online or by contacting reservation staff (M-F, 8:30 am-4:30 pm) at 425-388-6600. Please be aware that transaction fees will apply.
DUMP STATION
Due to Health Department requirements, all RVs must empty their waste tanks prior to connecting to full-utility sites. There is no dump-fee charge for full-utility Whitehorse Campground campers. A $10 dump-fee charge will apply to all other users. The dump station is winterized and closed November-March.
