Looking to be more prepared for a disaster? Want to be able to take care of yourself and others during a disaster? The Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management, in collaboration with Fire District 1 and the Lynnwood Fire Department, will be hosting a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course starting in June. This training will give you training in basic disaster response, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical training. Classes will start at 6:30 PM on June 2nd and take place every Monday and Thursday through the end of June. Each class runs approximately 3 hours.
