Is your dog a good canine citizen? Have you been planning to microchip your dog or cat in case your furry friend becomes lost? Then don’t miss the free Microchip Clinic and American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen Testing at the City of Everett’s annual Mutt Strut!

Date: Saturday, August 8, 2015
Location: Langus Riverfront Park at 400 Smith Island Road in Everett
Times:
* Microchip Clinic: 10:00am - noon (for up to 200 pets)
* AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing: 10:00am - 2:00pm (tests last approximately 20 minutes)

Sponsored by the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office and Snohomish County Animal Advisory Board, these free activities promote:

* Responsible pet ownership
* Reduction of shelter costs for lost pets
* Good canine manners at home and in the community
