With warm and dry weather, Snohomish County Public Works will begin its annual road resurfacing programs this summer targeting 107 miles of county roadways. Motorists will experience better driving conditions after the county improves the roads with two resurfacing techniques.
The county annually evaluates its roads to develop a multi-year plan to preserve and maintain county roads in the most cost-effective way. This year, the county will pave 14 miles of road with asphalt through its Paving Program while chip sealing about 93 miles of road through its Chip Seal Program.
