The Washington Recreation & Park Association (WRPA) recently awarded the prestigious Spotlight Award for Facilities & Parks to Snohomish County for its new Miner’s Corner Park facility. The award for excellence in parks design and construction was presented to Senior Park Planner Chris Mueller at the annual WRPA awards banquet in Tacoma Thursday. Miner’s Corner County Park was selected as one of the 2015 Spotlight Facility Award winners in the category of Outdoor Spaces/Natural Play.
