Bobcats are seldom seen because they are elusive in nature and cautious around humans. So imagine our surprise when this little guy (or gal) was spotted just south of the entrance to Willis Tucker Park on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Bobcats are not considered a threat to human safety except in rare cases when they have rabies or are extremely aggressive. Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) offices receive hundreds of reports of bobcat sightings each year. Due to time constraints, officers will only respond when there is a threat to public safety.
