Register to vote on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Snohomish High School student candidate forum
It’s not too late to register to vote for the Nov. 4 General Election! Visit the Snohomish High School student candidate forum this Saturday, Oct. 11 between 7:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. to register in person. Snohomish County Auditor’s Office staff will be available to assist with the registration process and answer election questions.
The Snohomish High School student candidate forum is open to the community and provides an opportunity to connect with area candidates and representatives for ballot measures and political parties. The forum will be held at the Snohomish High School Cafeteria/Commons, 1316 5th Street, Snohomish. A breakfast benefiting the Snohomish High School senior class will begin at 7:45 a.m., and candidates for congressional, legislative, judicial, and local offices will make brief statements beginning at 8:30 a.m.
If you miss the Snohomish High School student candidate forum, you can still register in person at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office through Monday, Oct. 27. The Auditor’s Office is located on the first floor of the Snohomish County Administration West Building, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In order to register to vote in Washington State, you must:
• be a United States citizen;
• have lived in Washington state for at least 30 days;
• be at least 18 years old by election day;
• not be disqualified due to a court order; and
• not be currently under Department of Corrections supervision for a felony conviction.
