[ARCHIVED] Trafton Floodplain Restoration Project Public Meeting #3 2/7/23

We need your input!

Snohomish County Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and the Stillaguamish Tribe are partnering on a floodplain restoration project at Trafton. A third and final public meeting is scheduled for February 7, 2023, at 6 pm. At this meeting, the County and Tribe would like to share the preferred design and next steps for the project and listen to feedback from the community. This design has been developed after exploring options for restoration and recreation through conceptual design and the previous two meetings. The project footprint will include work on both the Tribe’s and County’s property and will prioritize floodplain restoration and protecting the Whitehorse Trail, which runs adjacent to the project area, from future erosion and avulsion impacts.
