Heavy rains and swelling of the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River has washed-out a chunk of the Whitehorse Trail approximately 2 miles west of the Town of Darrington (just west of 435th Ave NE). Due to unsafe conditions, this section of trail is closed. Crews are inspecting the area to determine possible detours and repair options. No re-opening date has been determined.
