EVERETT, WA, July 24, 2017 – The Snohomish County Arts Commission is pleased to announce an exhibition by award-winning Snohomish County artist Angela Bandurka. The exhibition of 29 works is on view in the lobby of the Robert J. Drewel Building (3000 Rockefeller Ave in Everett) during regular business hours through September.
Each painting represents a slice of life lived within or just outside of Snohomish County: a reflective moment in boyhood, the intense concentration of a tennis serve, a brothers’ tentative steps into a cold lake. Her paintings also capture the playful cheer of Northwest “companions,” including animals, beer and fries, and ingredients for spicy guacamole.
Bandurka’s work has been exhibited in shows throughout the United States and Canada and is in the collections of Bartell Drugs, Costco Wholesale, Garrigan Lyman Design Group, and more.
She is a Signature Member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters and a participating member of Artist Connect, Eastside Association of Fine Artists, Mukilteo Arts Guild and SeattleArtists.com.
She is represented by Cole Gallery in Edmonds, Wash.
