Fire
Districts 14 and 18 are asking voters at the April 25 Special Election whether
the districts should be dissolved. If approved, all fire and emergency medical
services for residents in the districts would continue under North County
Regional Fire Authority, which has provided these services to both districts
since 2008. Fire Districts 14 and 18 include voters in Warm Beach, Stanwood,
and north of Arlington. If you are registered in one of these districts and
have not received a ballot, call Snohomish County Elections at (425) 388-3444.
If
you live in one of these districts and are not registered in Washington, you
may register in person at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office until 5:00 p.m.
on April 17.
Return your ballot as soon as practical.
Ballots may be returned by mail by affixing first class postage or to one of
our open drop box locations – no postage needed. Ballots must be returned or
postmarked by 8:00 p.m. on April 25.
Accessible Voting Units are available at
the Auditor’s Office during normal business hours and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m. on Election Day, April 25.
The
Auditor’s Office is located on the first floor of the Snohomish County
Administration West Building, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, and is open
