Applicants Sought For Housing Projects
Applications for an estimated $1.6 million in federal and local funds to develop affordable rental housing will be accepted through May 31, 2017
EVERETT, Wash., April 4, 2017 – Snohomish County is encouraging nonprofit organizations, for-profit developers, and government agencies to submit applications to develop affordable rental housing.
An estimated $1.6 million in federal and local funds under the HOME Investment Partnerships program is anticipated to be available for the 2018 program year and the Chemical Dependency and Mental Health (CDMH) program will be available in 2017. Projects must benefit low-income persons in Snohomish County.
Interested applicants can attend a workshop on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Snohomish County Robert J. Drewel Building (Administration Building East) on the county campus at 3000 Rockefeller Ave in Everett, WA.
Details of eligibility and other program requirements are available in the NOFA, which can be found on-line at: http://www.snohomishcountywa.gov/754. Applications must be completed and returned to the Snohomish County Human Services Department by 4 p.m. on May 31, 2017.
