Ballots for the April 25 Special Election were mailed today
to registered voters within Fire Districts 14 and 18. Fire Districts 14 and 18
are asking voters at the April 25 Special Election whether the districts should
be dissolved. If approved, all fire and emergency
medical services for residents in the districts would continue under North County
Regional Fire Authority, which has provided these services to both
districts since 2008. Fire Districts 14 and 18 include voters in Warm Beach,
Stanwood and north of Arlington.
If you live in one of these districts and are not registered
in Washington, you may register in person at the Snohomish County Auditor’s
Office until April 17.
If you are a registered to vote within one of these
districts and do not receive a ballot by April 12, call Snohomish County
Elections at (425) 388-3444.
Ballots may be returned by mail by affixing first class
postage or to one of our open drop box locations – no postage needed. Ballots
must be returned or postmarked by 8:00 p.m. on April 25.
Accessible Voting Units are available at the Auditor’s
Office during normal business hours and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election
Day, April 25.
The Auditor’s Office is located on the
first floor of the Snohomish County Administration West Building, 3000
Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.
