Snohomish County Elections has submitted changes to precinct
lines for County Council consideration. Each year the county is required
to review and adjust precinct lines to account for annexations to cities as
well as general population growth. By county code, no precinct can
contain more than 1,000 active registered voters. Snohomish County
Elections has proposed changes to 24 precincts including the creation of two
new precincts. Precinct boundaries are set by ordinance. Council is
set to begin consideration on March 14 at its Operations Committee.
