CIU Detectives Seek the Public’s Help with Fatal Hit and Run in South Everett

EVERETT, Wash. – Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives continue to seek the public’s help with a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian hit and run collision that occurred just after midnight on Sunday, June 6. The collision occurred at the intersection of 8th Ave W and 128th St SW on June 6. The victim, a 31-year-old Snohomish woman, was walking southbound through the intersection when she was struck by a westbound vehicle. The driver immediately fled the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital where she later died on June 12.
Detectives believe the vehicle should have significant damage to the front bumper and the hood; it may also have damage to the front windshield. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information regarding this incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
