Major Crimes Unit Detectives Investigate?Arlington Homicide

ARLINGTON, Wash. – Around 9:30AM Friday June11th, deputies responded to the 400 block of 200th Street NW based on information that a friend had disclosed to the reporting party he had just killed his girlfriend. Upon arrival, deputies located a 23 year old woman, with obvious signs of trauma, deceased in a residence.  

 

The suspect, a 25 year old male, was contacted by the Kirkland Police Department and taken into custody without incident. There is no threat to the public.

 

Detectives are still processing the scene and the suspect is being booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Murder 1st degree – Domestic Violence. This is still an active investigation.  

 

Positive identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.?
