CIU Detectives Seek Witnesses to Fatal Vehicle vs Pedestrian Hit and Run in Everett

EVERETT, Wash. – Around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 8 deputies responded to assist Fire with a medical call for an adult male with a head injury near the 3100 block of 110th Street SE. Initially, first responders on scene believed the victim’s injuries were sustained from a forward fall onto the sidewalk. The victim, a 46 year-old Everett man, was transported by aid to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. Following an examination by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner, it was discovered that the victim had internal injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives responded to the incident location and found evidence to support a collision occurred.
The 46 year-old victim was wearing tan pants and a hoodie at the time of the incident. If anyone saw this individual walking on 110th Street SE late on Friday, August 7 or very early on Saturday, August 8, believes they may have struck this individual while driving, or has any information regarding this incident, please call 911 or the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
Positive identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
