Deputies Investigate South Everett Stabbing

EVERETT, Wash. – Just before 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to a stabbing in the 200 block of 128th Street SW. Upon arrival deputies located the victim, a 37 year-old Everett man, with stab wounds to his neck and leg. The victim was transported by aid to Providence Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
During the investigation, deputies learned the 37 year-old victim and an adult female were walking through a parking lot when the victim engaged in a verbal confrontation with an adult male. The confrontation turned physical and the suspect stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene in a passenger vehicle.
The victim and the suspect are believed to be known to each other. This is an active investigation.
