Deputies Investigate Robbery in Everett

Snohomish County, Wash. – At approximately 1:20 p.m. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a Robbery in the 11900 block of Highway 99 in Everett. A 50 year-old male was transported by aid to Providence Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds to his head and arm. During the investigation, deputies learned that the victim was walking behind the Home Depot when he was robbed by 3 adult males, one of which was armed with a hatchet. The hatchet was used in the robbery but the victim did not sustain any lacerations. The suspects took the victims phone and money before fleeing into a homeless camp in the area. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
Two of the suspect were described as white males in their 30’s, wearing dark clothing. The 3rd suspect has been identified as Jose D. Navarro-Padilla. He also goes by the name ‘Jackson’. He is a 51 year old Hispanic male and is 5’05” and 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans. Navarro-Padilla should be considered armed and dangerous.
Deputies have probable cause to arrest Navarro-Padilla for first-degree assault and first-degree robbery.
