Detectives Arrest Suspect in South Everett Homicide

EVERETT, Wash. – Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit arrested a 30 year-old Everett man for first-degree murder in connection with the October 12 death investigation in the 11600 block of Highway 99. The suspect was taken into custody around 11 a.m. yesterday at his residence in Everett. Following an interview with detectives, the 30 year-old suspect was booked into Snohomish County jail without incident.
Based on evidence gathered during the investigation, detectives believe the decedent, a 29 year-old Everett woman, was a victim of homicidal violence.
This is an active investigation. Identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death are pending from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
