Detectives Investigate Homicide at Everett Residence

EVERETT, Wash. – Last night at approximately 10:45 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting in the 10600 block of 32nd Drive SE. The victim, a 21 year-old Seattle man, suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and died at the scene. During the investigation, detectives learned the victim was visiting the residence and engaged in a physical altercation with the homeowner, a 47 year-old Everett man, before the shooting occurred. Three additional adults were inside the residence at the time of the shooting. All four adults remained on scene and were cooperative. At this time, no arrests have been made, but detectives with the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate the incident.
Identification of the deceased, as well as cause and manner will come from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
