LAKE STEVENS, Wash. –The Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal collision at 84th St NE and 105th Ave NE that occurred just before 2 p.m. on Monday, December 31. A Chevy Van rear-ended a Toyota Yaris forcing the Toyota into the oncoming lane of traffic where it was hit head-on by a third vehicle, an Acura SUV.
The driver of the Toyota, a 48 year-old female, and the passenger, a 72 year-old Lake Stevens woman, were both transported to the hospital by aid.
