Sheriff's Office Responds to Collision in Stanwood

STANWOOD, Wash. – Just after 6 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a car vs bus collision in the 24100 block of Marine Drive. A passenger vehicle crossed the center line and collided head on with a bus. The driver of the vehicle, a 25 year-old Mount Vernon woman, was extricated from her vehicle and transported by aid to Providence Regional Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. The driver and two passengers on the bus were not injured. The cause the collision is still under investigation.
