MCU Responds to Stabbing in Bothell

BOTHELL, Wash. – On Saturday, June 16 at approximately 6:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to a stabbing in the 4300 block of 156th St SE. A female victim was collapsed at the corner of 43rd Ave SE and Sunset Rd. She was bleeding significantly from a stab wound in her neck. Witnesses reported an argument had taken place in the kitchen of the residence when they heard screams and saw the victim run out the front door yelling for help. When deputies arrived on scene the suspect was still inside the residence. Shortly after, the suspect, a 35 year-old Bothell man, exited the residence covered in blood. The suspect followed commands and was taken into custody without incident. Three juveniles inside the residence at the time of the incident fled to a nearby neighbor’s house and were not injured. The victim, a 28 year-old Bothell woman, was transported by aid to Harborview Medical Center.
