shari.ireton@snoco.org, 425-388-3377, Media line: 425-249-6263 EVERETT, Wash. – Patrol responded to a drive-by shooting this morning at the 13000 block of 8th Ave W. No injuries were reported and it is not believed to be related to the shooting and homicide that occurred off E Gibson Rd a few hours later. This incident was reported around 2 a.m. and there was evidence that at least four shots were fired into the side of an apartment building at the location. A dark colored passenger car with possibly three males were seen fleeing the scene. One male was reported to have been shooting from the back seat. Shell casings were recovered and the incident remains under investigation. A similar incident was reported at this location on November 24, 2017. ##
