EVERETT, Wash. - Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating what are believed to be two unrelated stabbings.

The first incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the 12700 block of Admiralty Way.  Initial reports indicate that this may have been an attempted or interrupted burglary.  One adult male, exact age unknown, was transported to Harborview Regional Medical Center with stab wounds and patrol set up containment in search of the suspect, who had fled the residence after the stabbing.  Patrol has just taken a male into custody that matches the suspect description.

The second incident occurred at the 11900 block of Hwy 99 when around 8 p.m. a female notified a Sheriff's sergeant at that location that a group of males were fighting on a bus.  Four suspects, all male, were taken into a custody and another male was transported to Harborview Regional Medical Center with stab wounds.  The suspects were reported to be all either juveniles or young adults.

Both incidents are under investigation and are, at this time, believed to be unrelated.

Further details will be released when they become available.
