Death investigation Fire Assist

LYNNWOOD, WASH. – Around 1:20 am, Snohomish County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to assist Fire/Aid crews with a report of a brush fire with a human body located near the 16817 of Larch Way, an unincorporated area outside of Lynnwood. 

The fire was quickly extinguished and the male was pronounced dead upon arrival by medics.  SCSO Major Crimes Unit along with the Snohomish Co. Fire Marshal are investigating the incident as an apparent suicide.

 

Cause of death and identification of the deceased will be released through the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

 

There are no outstanding suspects nor public safety concerns.
