On 08/08/16, at about 6 P.M., Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 emergency call reporting a shooting at a residence at the 1400 block of Center Road.  Deputies arrived and found one male victim had been shot in the leg and another victim had sustained a head injury from an assault.  The shooting victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The male suspect, age 24, fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Investigators searched throughout the evening for the suspect, before he was located at a residence at the 11000 block of Meridian Avenue in Everett shortly after midnight.  The suspect was inside with other individuals, to include two children.  The SWAT responded to the scene and contained the residence.  After an almost six hour standoff, everyone including the children left the residence, leaving the suspect behind.  The suspect gave up shortly after the children left the residence.  The suspect will be booked into the Snohomish County Jail on multiple felony crimes.
