Detectives Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Collision

SNOHOMISH, Wash. - The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle and vehicle collision at the 10500 block of Paradise Lake Rd.  The motorcycle driver died at the scene. The driver of the other involved vehicle (who is uninjured) stayed at the scene and is cooperating with detectives.  The road will be closed between 102nd Ave SE and 232nd St SE for the duration of the investigation, which could take several hours.

The incident was reported around 1:00 p.m. when a witness to the collision called 911.  The first Sheriff’s deputy to arrive performed CPR on the motorcycle driver prior to aid arriving on-scene.  The victim is male – age and hometown are unknown.   Positive identification of the victim, as well as cause and manner of death, will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.

The cause of the collision will be determined by CIU detectives through their investigation of the incident.
