Motorcycle Driver Killed in Collision

SNOHOMISH, Wash. – At about 1945 hours units were dispatched to a pick-up truck versus motorcycle crash which occurred in the 5900 blk of 60th St SE outside the city of Snohomish. It was reported the truck was turning left into a driveway when it was struck by the motorcycle.
CPR was performed on the motorcyclist for quite some time but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver of the truck was not injured.
The motorcyclist is believed to be in his 30's from the Lake Stevens, Snohomish area and the driver of the truck is from the Snohomish area.
Units from Snohomish Fire District 4 responded to the scene, as has the Sheriff's Office Collision Investigation Unit. The road is expected to be closed for 3-4 hours while CIU conducts their investigation at the scene.
