UPDATE:  Sheriff’s Office Searching for Burglary, Assault Suspects

EDMONDS, Wash. – Sheriff’s Office major crimes detectives are investigating the burglary and assault that occurred today at the 8100 block of 228th St SW and have confirmed the following information:

  • The suspect vehicle is a maroon 4 door XJ6 Jaguar.
  • The four suspects are all male, although no other description is available.
  • Two people were in the residence when the incident occurred: one 22 year-old male, who was assaulted and sustained a head injury, and his girlfriend, a female in her early 20’s, who was not injured.
  • The four suspects allegedly knocked on the door, then forced their way into the residence.
  • The weapons recovered at the scene include several knives and a gun.  It is unknown at this time if the weapons belong to the suspects or victims.
  • It is unknown at this time if the victims knew the suspects.
  • A collision investigated by Everett Police on Airport Rd involving a green Jaguar around the same time is not related to this incident.
  • Several calls were made to 911 to report the incident around 10 a.m.

No additional information is expected today unless the suspect vehicle is located.
