SNOHOMISH, Wash. – The Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible domestic violence assault at the 2500 block of 153rd SE involving a 29 year-old man who allegedly stabbed his parents and set the house on fire. The suspect and his 58 year-old father have been transported to Providence Regional Medical Center. The 58 year-old mother is unaccounted for at this time but is believed to still be in the residence, which is fully engulfed in flames.  The initial call came in to 911 around 11:15 p.m.

Major crimes detectives and the Snohomish County Fire Marshall are investigating the incident. Damage from the fire has made the residence unsafe for investigators to enter and detectives expect they won't be able to get inside until after daylight breaks.  No further information will be available until then.

Three uninjured dogs were removed from the residence for their safety by Animal Control.
