Detectives Seek Witnesses to Fatal Collision

ARLINGTON, Wash. – Detectives are looking for witnesses to a fatal collision that involved two vehicles and resulted in the death of Austin Hooper, a 21 year-old Darrington man. The incident occurred near the 30800 block of Swede Heaven Rd around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28 between a small, dark colored Mazada 3 passenger vehicle and a dark colored Ford F-250 pick-up truck.  Cooper was the driver of the truck.  Detectives are specifically looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the driving behaviors of either vehicle prior to and up to the point of the collision.
