Drowning Victim Recovered from Martha Lake

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team has recovered the body of a 70 year-old male from Martha Lake.  Identification of the victim will be confirmed by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The team was called out around 4 p.m. to the 16300 block of East Shore Dr. after family members reported that they had not seen the victim since around 2 p.m. after he indicated he would go swimming in the lake.  Aid crews on scene located the body within a few minutes.  

The death is not considered suspicious at this time.
