Pursuit Ends with Felon in Custody

Machias, Wash. – The brief pursuit of a wanted felon ended in his capture today at around noon at the 10200 block of 32nd St SE. The incident began near Snohomish when a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputy spotted a vehicle known to be associated with the 38 year-old man wanted on a $150,000 felony warrant. As the deputy turned to follow the vehicle, the suspect sped away to Hwy 2. Deputies pursed the suspect through the Machias area until the suspect’s car was stopped with a “pit” maneuver. The suspect was taken into custody and will be booked into jail. No injuries were reported.
