Hiker Rescued from North Cascades National Park

DARRINGTON, Wash. – The Snohomish County Sheriff's Rescue Helicopter "SnoHawk 10" was called today to rescue a climber who had fallen at the 8200 foot level of Mount Goode, in the North Cascades National Park.
The 32 year old hiker was seriously injured during a fall on July 6th and was assisted by two North Cascade Park Climbing Rangers who had been flown into the scene on July 6th by HiLine Helicopters from Darrington and stayed with the hiker and his party.
Today the Snohomish County Helicopter Rescue Team was requested and assisted by the two Park Climbing Rangers. The seriously injured man was hoisted off the mountain by "SnoHawk 10" and flown to Colby Hospital in Everett and later transferred to Harborview Hospital in Seattle.
