The internal investigation was terminated, per O’Neill’s separation from employment.  Any criminal charges would be the result of the criminal investigation being conducted by the Everett Police Department.

O’Neill was placed on paid administrative leave following his arrest on June 25 and his law enforcement authority had been suspended.
