Snohomish County Parks programs offers classes, camps, and events that place an emphasis on fitness, creativity, and the environment, for people of varying ages, abilities, and backgrounds. While martial arts and swim classes remain more popular than ever, we continually strive to adapt and introduce new programs to meet the needs of our visitors.
Our SOAR programs offer people of all ages with special needs, a unique opportunity to enjoy our parks in a safe and caring environment. For families with income restrictions we offer a limited number of sponsorships.
Have you ever met an owl face to face? What about a hawk, falcon, bald eagle or turkey vulture? Meet one of Sarvey Wildlife’s five non-releasable rescued raptors (say that five times fast!) during our free Raptors 101 Education Series this summer. In these 30-minute presentations, discover what a raptor is, hear their stories and learn what you can do to ensure they remain a significant part of the ecosystem. All ages. Check out 1 or all 5 of the events in the series!
