67th Ave NE Safety Improvements

Description - Completed

Snohomish County Public Works reduced the speed on 67th Ave NE from the Marysville city limits (108 St NE) to the Arlington city limits (south of 168 St NE) from 50 mph to 40 mph and revised the intersections of 67th Ave NE at both 132nd St NE and 152nd St NE into all-way stop controlled (stop signs) intersections.


Schedule

  • A project notice was posted in the Daily Herald on October 23, 2022.
  • New speed limit signs on 67th Ave NE were posted, and intersection revisions were implemented the week of October 24, 2022.
  • A 30-day public appeal process was implemented starting from the time the public notice is published in the Daily Herald.

Public Appeal Process

The public was able to appeal the speed limit change to the Snohomish County Council by filing a written appeal in accordance with the Snohomish County Code Section 11.16.080.
