Snohomish County Public Works is scheduled to reduce the speed on 67th Ave NE from the Marysville city limits (108 St NE) to the Arlington city limits (south of 168 St NE) from 50 mph to 40 mph and revise the intersections of 67th Ave NE at both 132nd St NE and 152nd St NE into all-way stop controlled (stop signs) intersections. This work is weather dependent but is scheduled to take place the week of October 24, 2022.
A project notice will be posted in the Daily Herald on October 23, 2022.
New speed limit signs on 67th Ave NE will be posted, and intersection revisions will be implemented the week of October 24, 2022 (weather dependent).
A 30-day public appeal process will be implemented starting from the time the public notice is published in the Daily Herald.

Public Appeal Process
The public may appeal the speed limit change to the Snohomish County Council by filing a written appeal in accordance with the Snohomish County Code Section 11.16.080. Any appeal must be submitted to the Clerk of the County Council, 8th Floor Snohomish County Administration East Building, Everett Washington 98201, within 30 calendar days from the date of the posting of the new speed zone.
