Consistent with Senate Bill 5160, Snohomish County’s Eviction Resolution Pilot Program (ERPP) has been established with the goal of bringing parties together with trained resolution specialists to explore solutions that will avoid evictions and facilitate payment of rent assistance.
The first step for tenants is often to call the Eviction Defense screening line at 1-855-657-8387 to determine what resources are available.
Unlawful detainer motions may be heard on any session of the Commissioners Civil Motions calendar per Administrative Order 11-22 which can be found here: Administrative Orders | Snohomish County, WA - Official Website (snohomishcountywa.gov).
Snohomish County has received certification from OCLA confirming eligibility for funding for ERPP right to counsel. The Northwest Justice Project and Snohomish County Legal Services are both accepting appointments to represent indigent tenants. For more information regarding eligibility for appointment of counsel, please call the Eviction Defense screening line: 1-855-657-8387.
