Your pet license comes with many benefits:

  • License tags not only provide quick information that will help you reunite with your pet if they go missing, but they also help fund the costs of shelter and medical expenses for lost and neglected pets in our county.
  • License discounts: Pets who are spayed/neutered are eligible for a discount, with an additional discount for pets who are also microchipped. Seniors also receive discounts for their pets!
  • Pet license lookup: Found pets can be quickly reunited with their owner because any finder can look up the tag number to locate the owner's contact information, 24/7.
  • A free ride home: If your pet becomes lost, Animal Services staff will attempt to deliver them home to you, skipping an expensive trip to the animal shelter.
  • Avoid fines: Fines for failing to license your pet start at $100.
