Snohomish County, as lead agency of the Snohomish County Urban County Consortium and HOME Consortium, encourages all interested persons, public agencies, organizations, local governments, and other parties to review and comment on the Draft 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan and to attend a public hearing.
The Snohomish County Consortia are partnerships between Snohomish County and the cities and towns in the county for the receipt of federal funds under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs. The Draft 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan provides a framework to guide the investment of these funds to address local priority housing and community development needs that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons and areas of the county. Snohomish County collaborated on the plan with the City of Everett and the City of Marysville, which each receive and administer CDBG funds for their own cities and also participate in the HOME Consortium.
