COVID-19 Park Response

What we’re doing 



The health and safety of our community is our top concern, and we are doing our part to help contain the spread of this virus. We are making daily assessments based on Public Health’s guidance, and we will do our best to communicate any changes in our operations as quickly as possible.
In accordance with guidance from Snohomish County Public Health and the Washington Department of Health regarding COVID-19, the following Snohomish County Park facilities restrictions are in effect:

Facilities:

 

  • Playgrounds:  Playgrounds/playground structures are closed through April 30, 2020.
  • Picnic Shelters:  No new reservations accepted for events on or before April 30, 2020.  Existing reservations must meet COVID-19 social requirements.
  • Activity Centers:  Willis Tucker Park.  Closed.  No new reservations accepted for events on or before April 30, 2020. Existing reservations must meet COVID-19 social requirements.
  • Yurts & Vacation Home:  Kayak Point/River Meadows Parks.   No new reservations accepted through April 30, 2020.  Existing reservations must meet COVID-19 social requirements
  • Administration Offices:  Willis Tucker Park, Fair Park, and WSU Extension offices are closed to the public until further notice.
  • Sport field rentals: Cancelled all scheduled practices and games. 
  • Permitted events and rentals over 50:  Cancelled. 
  • Swim Lessons:  All registrations on hold until May 1st.  
  • Annual Pass Sales:  Annual Pass sales at parks are suspended until further notice.  Passes can be purchased online.

At this time our parks, campsites, boat launches, trails and open spaces remain open.
