Effective Monday, April 6, 2020 |  Superior Court Clerk's Office Public counters are closed.

The Clerk's Office continues to provide online, phone and mail-in filing services Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. excluding holidays. Clerk modified services are detailed  here.

The Clerk's Office offers electronic access to select publicly available court records via the Washington State Digital Archives.


Available Court Records

  • Civil
  • Criminal (adult)
  • Domestic (2004 forward)
  • Probate/Guardianship

Unavailable records include statutorily confidential, court ordered sealed, and otherwise restricted by state and/or local court rule, Domestic before 2004, and Juvenile Offender. 

Searching for Records at Digital Archives


Go to Snohomish County Superior Court Clerk's web page at the Washington State Digital Archives.  

For the best results, enter your case number in the Case Number field and click "Search".  If you do not know your case number you can search for it at Washington Courts - Records Search.

If you are searching by keywords, type them into the "Keywords" field.  You can also fill in a date range to search between specific years, if known, and then click "Search".  

Viewing Search Results


If there are search results, it will display under the "Record Series" banner toward the bottom of the page with the number of results returned. See example screen below. 

Click on “Show All Records” to see all the results/documents that match the search.  To view a document, click on the magnifying glass icon in the far-right column under “Image Exists”.  

The document will process and then a link to “View/Download PDF” will appear.  Click on that link to view the document.  Only the top portion of the document will display.  If you want to view the entire document, you will need to purchase a copy. Once purchased, non-certified document orders will be available to print/download.  Certified document orders will be forwarded to the Clerk's Office for preparation and mailing.  

If there isn't an image available, you can contact the Clerk's Office as it may not be available electronically and will be available on microfilm unless it is statutorily confidential, court ordered seal, or otherwise restricted by state and/or local court rule.

Non-Certified Copies $.25 per page
Certified Copies $5.00 first page, $1.00 for each additional page
  $5.00 mailing charge for every 50 pages
Digital Archives Fee $1.00 per document
