The Logan Park parking lot was replaced with pervious concrete as part of a Low Impact Development (LID) retrofit of the park. The pervious concrete allows stormwater to infiltrate into the native soils and provides water quality benefits. Additional Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements to the parking lot were included in the project.
The parking lot was closed for construction from September 8 through December 28, 2020.
Trucks entered and left the construction site from Logan Road but traffic impacts were minimal.
The project cost is $311,000 and was paid through Surface Water Utility service charges.
