The West Richmond Rd Culvert Replacement project has reached substantial completion. The final pavement restoration still to be completed by Puget Sound Energy will occur the week of September 23, 2019.
Snohomish County Public Works replaced a 30-inch diameter culvert under the road at 21015 West Richmond Rd July 6-21. The site is on a fish bearing tributary to North Creek. The culvert was replaced with an 11.5-foot wide metal pipe-arch culvert that will improve passage for fish.
The construction work took place July 6-21.
To install the new culvert, the road was closed near the address 21015 West Richmond Rd for approximately two weeks. The detour route was signed and utilize 1st Pl W, 205th Pl SW, S Danvers Rd, Logan Rd, 1st Ave W, and 213th St SW.
The estimated cost for this culvert replacement is $300,000 and will be paid for through Surface Water Utility funds.
