Manor Way Culvert Replacement

Snohomish County Public Works replaced a culvert under the road at 15411 Manor Way. The previous 21-inch diameter culvert was replaced with an 11-foot wide concrete box culvert on the fish-bearing tributary to Swamp Creek. The new culvert eases road flooding and improves fish passage.

Schedule


Work took place between July 22 and August 4, 2019.

Traffic Impact


To install the new culverts the road was closed between 156th St SW and 153rd St SW from July 22 to August 4. The detour route was signed and utilize 148th St SW, 35th Ave W, and 164th St SW. Local access remained available to residents and businesses on Manor Way during the closure.

Funding


The estimated cost for this culvert replacement is $300,000 and was funded through Surface Water Utility funds.
