Snohomish County Planning and Development Services

PDS is located on the second floor of the Administration West Building on the County Campus. Customer service hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm except Thursdays 10am to 5pm. Customers must be signed in by 3:30 for information and by 4:00 to visit the Records Room. Records Room hours are 9am-noon and 1-4pm. We strongly encourage customers to use our online services as identified below.

Front Counter Services

General zoning questions, permitting and land development information can be requested electronically via AskPermitTech. You can also call our switchboard at 425-388-3311 and we’ll direct you to someone who can answer your questions.

Records Information

Requests for permitting records are being fulfilled electronically. Please view the PDS Public Records & Information webpage for information on how to request records or view them yourself via our Online Records Tool.

Our zoning specialists, land development specialists, planners, engineers, biologists, and plans examiners are all working remotely to provide the same level of service to which you have been accustomed. If you have a permit in review, you should be hearing from our staff just like before. We can do conferences with customers via Microsoft Teams or telephone instead of in person. Thank you for your support and patience in fulfilling your requests.
