Thank you for your interest in the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. If you are interested in applying to join our team, please review the job descriptions to see if you meet the required qualifications for a position. Snohomish County only accepts online job applications.


The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office internship program provides work experience for college students with junior or senior standing in an accredited post-secondary institution field of study related to science. For more information about the internship program and qualifications, click here. Internships are only offered during the summer. Internships are generally weekdays, but times and days are flexible.

If you are currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution and have junior or senior standing and are interested in an internship, please check with your institution to confirm our internship program meets their requirements. Only interns receiving credit for the internship will be allowed. If you are interested, please submit your Letter of Interest and Resume to our office for consideration. You will be contacted for a tour and interview.

If approved, interns must be enrolled in college for credit and receiving credit for the internship. The school must complete an Internship Agreement. This is an unpaid internship.
