The following are some simple steps you can take to help reunite an animal with it's owner:
If it is safe to do so, check to see if the animal has a license or identification tag. If there is a Snohomish County tag on it you can use our pet look-up tool to get the name and phone number of the owner so you can reunite them. (Enter the tag number without any dashes: for example, enter 20-00001 as 2000001.)
If there is an identification tag with contact information on it, you can reunite the pet with its owner without having to contact Animal Services.
If you are unable to identify the owner, you may bring the pet to the Everett Animal Shelter (EAS). Please review the below list of jurisdictions serviced by EAS.
If you decide to house the pet until you find the owner, please contact EAS at 425-257-6000 and provide them with a description of the animal or use their online found report.
