Found Pets

The following are some simple steps you can take to help reunite an animal with it's owner:

  • If it is safe to do so, check to see if the animal has a license or identification tag. If there is a Snohomish County tag on it you can use our pet look-up tool to get the name and phone number of the owner so you can reunite them. (Enter the tag number without any dashes: for example, enter 18-99999 as 1899999.)
  • If there is an identification tag with contact information on it, you can reunite the pet with its owner without having to contact Animal Services.
  • If you are unable to identify the owner, you may bring the pet to the Everett Animal Shelter (EAS). Please review the below list of jurisdictions serviced by EAS.
  • If you decide to house the pet until you find the owner, please contact EAS at 425-257-6000 and provide them with a description of the animal or use their online found report.
